Al Jazeera begins broadcasting in Canada

AJE also said it will open a Canadian bureau in June, in Toronto. This will make AJE the only international news channel with a bureau in Canada, the channel said in a release.

“We are extremely pleased that AJE’s groundbreaking news and programming is now available in Canada, one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world,” Tony Burman, managing director of AJE, said in the release.

Mr. Burman is a former editor-in-chief of CBC News.

Fox News

Tim Pawlenty, Governor of Minnesota, is interviewed on Fox News by Sean Hannity.

Russia Today

Dennis Kucinich (D-OHIO), is interviewed by Russia Today.

As a side note: Russia Today regularly uses “analysts” akin to American media. They get a high number of official guests that aren’t corporate spokespeople, so it balances out in a weird way.
